INTERIOR DESIGN
This term is widely used, and at the same time hard for many to actually define. Interior design encompasses so many aspects. When we think of ourselves as a full service Interior Design Firm we think educated with a degree in Interior Design & Housing with the proper training to guide you in your project, professional knowledge input, and vast experience. We are here to handle all the nitty-gritty details. We want to help make this process as enjoyable as possible, advocate for you, address your lifestyle needs, make your space functional, and come out with a beautifully designed & executed result. We can take care everything: lighting specifications, electrical plans, walk-throughs with trade professionals, flooring selections, paint finishes, furniture planning and everything in between! We are here for you during the construction of your project. Our firm can’t wait to help you turn your space into a home!
INITIAL CONSULTATION
This is where we will talk about the vision for your home. I’ll take photos and measurements and we’ll go over the next steps for your project. I'm all ears and ready to hear about your inspiration and ideas. Feel free to share everything that touches on what you are envisioning for your house! Or even great examples of what you do not like. Together, we'll brainstorm to bring your vision to life. My goal at our initial consultation is to get into your head enough to have a clear understanding of what your taste is and what it is not. Our number one goal at the end of your project, is for the end result to reflect your personal taste and vision you had at the beginning of the process. We’re just here to make it a reality.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
During the active construction phase of your project, this is when collaborating, meeting, and visiting with contractors, subs, and vendors will happen. We’ll be specifying your construction finish materials and coordinating them to arrive in a timely manner as needed by trades to keep your project moving, and making sure installation is executed as tailored to your design concept. We handle all the details so you’re not overwhelmed, while also assessing when it is needed to bring you in on some of the larger and more personal issues that may arise.
NEW CONSTRUCTION & REMODEL
Building a new home or structure, or remodeling is generally a pretty stressful undertaking. This is why we are here! Working in the construction field is something we are immersed in everyday and addressing questions, issues or specifying materials is just our second nature. Being your advocate and having your best interest in mind is our priority during the construction phase of your project! We are here to sweat all the small details so you don’t have to. All while keeping your personal end goal in mind!
EXTERIOR DESIGN
Don’t let the term “Interior Designer” fool you! We can help with material selections on exterior finishes as well! Whether you're remodeling your an existing structure or starting a new construction project, our main priority when selecting exterior finishes is making intentional selections to honor the architecture, but also pushing the envelope to incorporate your personal taste and aesthesis when needed! We help with selecting types of materials, and work along side the trades to iron out all the details to create a cohesive looking, intentional, beautiful end result!
SPACE PLANNING
This phase can include an overall house floor plan, rearranging the layout of any existing space in your house such as a bathroom or kitchen, or just coming up with furniture layouts for a room. The most important thing about space planning is making sure it is tailored to function properly for your family’s everyday life. It can be pretty all day long, but if it doesn’t function, it is worthless. Even if you plan to work with an architect, we can start laying out rough plans together and go into the process of working with the architect as your advocate to ensure you are getting exactly what you want.
FURNISHING & DESIGN
We start with space-planning your furniture layout and visiting about your everyday needs for function. We evaluate what furnishes and décor pieces you may already have to try to incorporate into the new design, along with any heirloom pieces that are must! From window treatments to your favorite cozy chair, we source all the furnishings needed to put together your space! We work together to incorporate your personal taste into the space & create ways to honor your home’s architectural style for an overall seamless look!
DECORATE DAY
This is the magical day for our team that motivates us to keep doing what we’re doing everyday, especially when we hear happy feedback from our clients! Along with help from our guys at Fink Construction, we make sure all furnishings and accessories are onsite and ready to be professionally installed with our team. All the details and our hard work come together on this day, and its so rewarding!
